The wires get all wound up and it doesn’t have a volume control,which the I-pod I have requires, probably my fault for not looking more closely before buying. Anyway, when using it you have a scramble of wire. Why is it nobody can manufacture these small necessary components well? Maybe there’s a good business opportunity here. Everything I’ve bought that is miniature is junk. Oh well.

I bought this product about 2 months ago. It worked very well until about a week ago. One of the wires inside came undone so now I am only able to hear my music on the right speaker in my car.
If you don’t mind buying one every couple of months-by all means buy it. Otherwise, invest in something a bit better that will actually last.

I think this cord works great, had almost a year now and no problems (yes, even my little plastic retractor thing is still intact). The only issue is I can’t seem to get my ipod as loud as I could get with a cd, but I’m going to change my EQ (I have an ipod touch) and see if that makes a difference. The cord could be a little longer (I have a Land Rover, and the MP3 jack is in the back of the middle console); it barely reaches to my lap. Otherwise, very pleased, especially for the price.
